How to track and complete any collectible with Faltan

Updated June 11, 2026 · 1 min read

Sticker album, trading card game or sports cards — the same method completes any set: track what you're missing, scan as you go, and turn duplicates into the items you need.

Whatever you collect — a Panini sticker album, a TCG set, a sports-card series — completing it comes down to the same loop. Faltan curates 28 collections with verified checklists, and the method below works for every one of them.

Pick your collection

Start by choosing the set you're working on from the catalog. Each collection has its own official checklist — every sticker or card by number — so your progress, missing list and duplicates are scoped to that exact set. You can keep more than one on the go and switch between them anytime.

Track your missing list from day one

The single biggest time-saver is an up-to-date list of what you're missing. Mark each item the moment you get it. On sets with printed codes, Faltan reads the code with your camera and ticks it off automatically — so your missing list is always current and ready to share.

Buy smart, not blind

Early on, almost every pack helps. Past the halfway point, loose packs give diminishing returns — most will be duplicates. That's when boxes, official order-your-missing services (where they exist) and trading become far more efficient than buying more packs.

Turn duplicates into the items you need

Your duplicates are currency. Keep them organized and swap with friends and local groups — a good trade closes two gaps at once: you give one you have spare, you get one you need. Faltan matches what you're missing against what others have spare so the swaps find themselves.

Finish strong

The last handful of items is always the hardest. Keep your missing list tight, lean on trades, and use any official mail-order list for your set if one is available. Same loop, any collectible.
