How to report illegal or infringing content, and what we do about it.
Report illegal or infringing content
Anyone can notify us of content they believe is illegal or infringes their rights. Email legal@faltan.app with: (1) a link or precise description that lets us find the content; (2) an explanation of why it is illegal or infringing; (3) your name and contact email; and (4) a statement, in good faith, that your report is accurate. We confirm receipt and act without undue delay.
Copyright (DMCA)
For copyright claims, your notice should include: identification of the copyrighted work; identification and location of the allegedly infringing material; your contact details; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. Send it to legal@faltan.app.
Trademarks and other rights
For trademark, publicity or other rights complaints, write to legal@faltan.app with enough detail to identify the right, the content, and why it infringes. Note that referring to a brand or product descriptively to identify a physical collectible is generally lawful nominative use.
What we do
We review valid notices, remove or disable content where warranted, and may suspend the account responsible. When we remove user content or restrict an account, we aim to tell the affected user what was actioned and why (a statement of reasons), unless the law prevents it.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can contest it by writing to legal@faltan.app explaining why. We will review and, where appropriate, restore the content.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that repeatedly post illegal or infringing content will be suspended or terminated.
